MAC Launches RiRi Woo on Thursday

ririThe much anticipated RiRi ♥ MAC collection is almost here! First up in the creative collaboration between pop superstar Rihanna and MAC Cosmetics is RiRi Woo, Rihanna’s remixed version of the cult classic lipstick Ruby Woo. RiRi’s take on the matte retro shade, a bluer red, will launch officially on Thursday. Get your e-shopping selves ready ladies, I have a feeling this one is going to sell out quickly! RiRi’s lippy will run for 15 bucks and will be on sale exclusively online and at the MAC pop-up store at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY (for ticket holders of Rihanna’s Summer World Tour shows there this weekend).

Butter London Launches “Pitter Patter” in Honor of Royal Baby

The posh polish experts over at Butter London recently launched a new color in honor of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s upcoming royal addition… and the shade is bloody brilliant! To celebrate the mini monarch, the aptly named “Pitter Patter” is a richly royal aubergine shimmer.

This limited edition lacquer is the latest in Butter’s tribute to the crown, following fun shades like “No More Waity, Katie,” a lilac glitter polish launched in celebration of the royal wedding.

Wear This/Drink That: Mad Men Edition

In honor of tonight’s season premiere of AMC’s Mad Men, Estee Lauder launched a simple, but beautiful limited edition batch of products inspired by the show. The period drama is one of my absolute favorite shows, not only because of the killer acting and brilliant writing (…and my massive crush on Jon Hamm), but also because the costuming and makeup design is spot on. I just love watching the changes in trends and years reflect in their faces. I also love watching the cocktails they shake up throughout the show.

Wear This: Estee Lauder Mad Men Collection

Estee Lauder captured the essence of the show perfectly with this collection, the second Mad Men inspired cosmetic line by the company, with a modern take on shades worn by sixties sirens. Even the packaging pays homage to the golden days, with classic Estee Lauder sixties-era replica cosmetic cases.madmenestee2 The coordinating Mad Men trio includes See Thru Blush in Light Show – a sheer rosy pink powder blush ($50, presumably pricier because of the awesome case), Rich Lipstick in Pinkadelic – a creamy warm medium pink lipstick with a satin finish ($30), and Nail Lacquer in Pink Paisley – a powdery baby pink polish ($24). madmenestee3It’s the perfect combination to create that soft-lipped, rosy-flushed sixties face. ¾ oz crème de noyaux
¾ oz crème de cacao
½ oz vodka
1 oz fresh cream

Pour over ice. Stir and serve in martini glass.
